The view from Slow Food Rocks at Fort Mason, SF

This weekend I spent Saturday and Sunday in the photo pit for the Slow Food Rocks music festival, an inaugural event at Fort Mason here in San Francisco set atop a hill overlooking Golden Gate Bridge and the mouth of the Bay. What a view. The festival went off without a hitch at all to be found, and both days featured an eclectic mix of music and food vendors and it was a great, relaxing way to spend the weekend. I chose an extra day off from the blog, too. So just think of yesterday as my blog “labor” day. Hopefully the rest of you slackers found quality time to chillax, also.

We’ve got some great updates lined up for the week and we hope to have a podcast or two to share this weekend — we’ve been way too quiet in that department — so stay tuned to the site and check out our headlines from last week in case you missed them.
