Hear, hear! The circumstances surrounding the way The White Stripes and Rob first began their collaboration is so lucky for the rest of us who now get to enjoy his work. Nobody before or since has been able to match Rob's penchant for creating pieces that exceed the level of quality people have come to expect from The White Stripes' and The Raconteurs' products. Rob's work has made art collectors out of teenagers, a remarkable feat. I hope to enjoy this inspiring collaboration for years to come.

I was at the Raconteurs’ Friday show at Terminal 5 and I picked up two of the Rob Jones’ prints, one to sell and one to keep. This wasn’t my first experience with the incredible work of Rob Jones. Rob was kind enough to reprint for me the poster from the Stripes show in Coney Island back in 2005. It was a hefty price tag but well worth it. I also have his prints from the 2006 Raconteurs show at Roseland and the most treasured of all Rob Jones prints: White Stripes 10th Anniversary Show at the Savoy Theatre, Glace Bay Novia Scotia from July 2007. I was actually at the show and picked up a paper print and the poster printed on aluminum metal. It’s funny watching fellow collectors at these shows gunning for the Rob Jones prints. It’s a subculture unto itself.
