I totally agree with you, this show, this Reba in fact, almost 10 years later, stands out as one of the most vidid concert experiences for me as well. Thanks so much for posting the video.

All four of the Island tour shows are some of my favorites. There ain’t a loser in the bunch.

I had not listened to the 4/3 show for a while, and after reading your piece I had to play it through. It is hard for me to explain why I get a silly grin each time I hear “Mike’s” head into “Old Home Place,” but there it was again.

The “Roses are Free” that opens the second set is mighty sweet, taboot.

Totally nostalgic…ughh….it still kills me every year when I’m not making plans to see four or five shows in the summer right around this time of year…

I’d be curious about your take on my initial post about this show. A lot more depth on the second set, which is a whole other story.

Honestly, I think there’s enough going on during this show to call for a post a year for the next decade. it’s truly a classic.
