Last night, My Morning Jacket opened up the Evil Urges vault on the lucky fans in Houston, playing the title track and “Aluminum Park” from their much-anticipated new album (Evil Urges – on ATO). It seems as though after a brief absence, the best live band on Earth(?) is returning with a full head of steam.
In other MMJ news, NPR is going to broadcast the band’s performance at the Austin Music Hall on March 13th, as a part of its SXSW concert coverage. So anyone who doubts my shaky proclamation can see for themselves. Check out a preview below and thanks to Wyndham for the tip.
