Not a very strong lineup at all and nothing to get too excited about. I was extremely anxious to see the Lolla lineup after hearing the other festival lineups. Thought for sure this would top them all. Guess not.. The few bands that I would like to see on the bill I would prefer to wait and see in a smaller venue, performing a full set, for a lot less money. Very disappointed.. Not a very strong lineup at all and nothing to get too excited about. I was extremely anxious to see the Lolla lineup after hearing the other festival lineups. Thought for sure this would top them all. Guess not.. The few bands that I would like to see on the bill I would prefer to wait and see in a smaller venue, performing a full set, for a lot less money.

But maybe this proves hairdude's point exactly and Mr. Roffman is a Lolla guy, while I probably skew more SXSW.. Regardless Kings of Leon, Black Keys, Interpol, Modest Mouse and Snow Patrol (psych!)... that's a damn fine group of bands playing in my backyard. The only thing that concerns me about the validity of the list is that is does skew very indie... In my mind, Ben Harper is THE reason to go. But maybe this proves hairdude’s point exactly and Mr. Roffman is a Lolla guy, while I probably skew more SXSW..
