Philly’s ‘Jam on the River’ 2007 | Disco Biscuits, Common, STS9 and More

Philadelphia’s annual ‘Jam on the River‘ has announced its 2007 lineup. Philly’s own will return for their 5th year to headline on Saturday, May 26th, while STS9 has the top slot on Sunday, May 27th. The band will also trade spots with STS9 for late-night shows at the Electric Factory, along with ’s side project, Conspirator. The event takes place May 26-27 at Penn’s Landing in Philladelphia, and includes the following:

Bustle in Your Hedgerow (feat. Joe Russo and Marco Benevento)
Grimace Federation

Saturday Late-night @ the Electric Factory
STS9
Conspirator (feat, Aaron Magner, Marc Brownstein, and DJ Omen)

Sunday, May 27th @ Penn’s Landing
STS9
Dark Star Orchestra
The Wailers
John Butler Trio
The Brakes

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Monday, April 9th through Biscotix, while general public sale begins Saturday, April 14th. Full lineup and additional info should be available at the Jam on the River website starting on Monday.

JOTR is always a great little urban music event, but this lineup is especially solid. Common sharing the stage with the Disco Biscuits is big news, especially given the band’s recent interest in hip hop. But the musical mayhem is even sweeter with all these additional late-night shows. Sounds like a dance party to me!

    Common got dropped from the line up and they added Cypress Hill. Also added to day one: hoots & hellmouth, Lotus, and Apollo Sunshine
