Nice, I stand corrected. I figured it was something along those lines. And a Tom Morello solo acoustic set (even a “pissed off johnny cash”) sounds intriguing.

oh, and I def. choked a bit, especially once I saw the little logo’s color scheme. Maybe they’ll pass out free iced coffee?

Funny thing about the Tom Morello solo stuff — I literally heard it explained to me as, “sounds like a really, really pissed off Johnny Cash.” I didn’t get around to catching his showcase down at SXSW and apparently I’m regretting that now…

I don’t know how anyone could ever say “Dunkin’ Donuts Folk Festival” without choking on the irony.

And Tom Morello just started a solo career with the nom de guerre the Nightwatchman. It’s just him and an accoustic guitar singing classic-style folk songs, so maybe he’s the most appropriate artist on the bill.

It hasn’t really been a “classic folk festival” for a while. Plus they have had bigger names than the ABB so I don’t think the new sponsorship was the reason for that.
