But even the awesome tunes that sound like phish still sound like a unique band, imo. I'd tell the band not to listen to the nay sayers because as long as they keep maturing as a band and working hard there will always be a solid spot for them on the scene. and who knows, maybe they'll be giging top venues in a few years. i sure hope so. i mean, thier shows are killer. They are sorta like particle (not necessarily in musical format) - the first time I saw em, I was blown away. Every time since, I've been less impressed. The last time I caught them I left after the first set - the guitarist was off putting with his somewhat arrogant stage presence, and the jams were wankfests - really predictible.
