Dave Matthews Band, Solo | 2007 Tour Dates

in Tour Dates

I have a confession to make. I never really understood the hype about Dave. Although “Crash Into Me” was one of my favorite songs in high school (yes, it was because of the overt-yet-somehow-subtle naughtiness of the lyrics and yes, I’m revealing my age here), I never cared one way or another whether I saw him live. Sure, I heard his shows were great, but he just never did for me what he has done for all of those fans out there.

Ah, but then, Dave just so happened to be one of the acts performing at a benefit concert that I went to a few months back. He was only one of a dozen terrific great artists who played their hearts out for the benefit, but his live performance really did reach right in to my body and strum the chords of my heart. And yes, the band played “Crash” and yes, the naughtiness of the lyrics still makes my skin tingle.

So I’m happy to give you the 2007 tour dates for Dave, solo and with the band, also available on their website:

Went to see Dave last night in Dublin and it was one of the best shows i’ve been to in years. He played with Tim Ryonolds who is such an amaizing guitarist, he turned it into a violin and a drum on many ocasion, his slide guitar and finger picking were out of this world. Songs included Satilite, Crash, Lie in your graves, Dancing Nancies.Dave talked about his step father and Sister in a way that would make you cry. Dont miss him live

…… continuing with the Dublin gig, what Colm failed to mention was that he was the funniest bloke ever! He had everyone laughing so hard…. he also played for almost three hours and would definately have gone on for longer if he could have….. can’t wait for the band in May. Man’s a legend.

Glad to see Dave out there spreading his music on the other side of the ocean. There’s a chance I could catch the band together in Portugal later on…a long shot, but something I’d love to have happen.

Chris…you must not have seen his band live yet. Ever seen Pig or Ants Marching performed live? The violin rocks in those and makes the song…listen to the beginning of Pig, one of their many great songs.

Hello everyone, I saw dave and Tim play in newcastle 23rd Feb. Was probably one of the best gigs I have seen for a while. His guitar playing and lyrics are an insperation to me and many others.
Can anyone tell me where to find a review of that particular gig?
