First Official Bonnaroo Lineup Confirmations

It’s looking like both Cold War Kids and John Butler Trio are already confirmed (source, source) as part of the Bonnaroo Music Festival 2007 lineup…this would be in-addition to Pearl Jam as the headliner.

Lily Allen is listed as a “maybe.”

More on this to come…

John Butler is one of my new favorites. Panic and Pearl Jam at the Roo would make me think about getting back there this year (It was a trying festival in ’04 with all the bad weather and mud so I have not been back since).

I also hope they bring the JAMBANDS back to Bonnaroo. Variety is the spice of life, and I do believe that, but I feel like they have gotten away from what put them on the map.

They aren’t a big band but Uncle Earl, the all-female, old time bluegrass band will be there.

I have seen them multiple times, they are very talented and fun live.

Bonnaroo 06′ had no rain. The storm actually bypassed us. Great music, and “a really good time”, would totally be worth getting muddy. Seeing Tom and Stevie perform together was sweet. Radiohead’s night show was the **it. LOl roo fans ill see you all soon.

i’ve attended bonnaroo each of the last 5 years, and though the music has never disappointed, the vibe has certainly changed over the years. I’m sure a lot of people still like it, but in my opinion it has become much too commercialized. This is the first year I will not be able to go so I am hoping to find a good replacement, maybe something a bit more intimate.
