Universal Music Groups Sues MySpace

Universal Music Group is taking on the Internet’s most popular social networking site and its global media parent. UMG labels and publishers sued MySpace and parent company News Corporation today (Nov. 17) for copyright infringement.

I mean — seriously? MySpace is responsible for this? Universal is grasping at straws if you ask me…

yeah that sucks man why are the big companies always trying to destroy the online communities that’s not cool. It’s all about live soul music we need more.

This is odd. Universal/Interscope/Geffen (it’s all the same company) is teamed with MySpace Music (MySpace’s record label). why would they be going after a business partner?
