Tomorrow, I will be leaving and heading to Europe for a spectacular two-week vacation, all culminating with Jam in the ‘Dam 2006. Can I get a hell yes? Email all trip ideas to vibes@livemusicblog.com.
I’ve relaunched my personal blog, melody to funkytown, and I’ll be posting updates from my trip both here and there. I like the new look for the blog and I plan on keeping it current. I need to.
I’ll post any quick links and stuff if you want to send it my way, but I’ll only have sporadic internet access the first week of the trip. As such, I’ve shut down the comments for a short while until I get to Amsterdam. THEN THE COMMENTS GO ON, BABY!
Thanks to the readers for all the kick-ass support and patronage you’ve shown. It’s really something I’m proud to be a part of and this vacation is a time when I’ll be reflecting on that, on the blog, on the future (always on the future), and what life is all about…
I’ve loaded my 30gb iPod Video with Spiritualized, Natalie Portman’s Rap (vid), Chronicles of Narnia (vid), Of Montreal, Akron/Family, Backyard Tire Fire, Disco Biscuits, Rogue Wave, Phish, Tortoise, Wilco, Wolfmother, The Duo, STS9, Umphrey’s McGee, Secret Machines, the Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Broken Social Scene, and just about 25gb’s worth of other tunes–you think that’s good enough?
