Sasquatch 2006 Lineup Rumors

Update (2/21/06): The lineup has been posted and it looks fantastic. Sufjan Stevens, Wolfmother, Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, the Shins, the Flaming Lips, and plenty more…

Call my an idiot or anything else, but I don’t remember even hearing about this festival last year.

Sasquatch 2006 doesn’t even have dates yet, but that isn’t stopping some bands already signing on to play…

Three artists have been confirmed (according to their booking agency at least) for the 2006 Sasquatch Music Festival at the Gorge in Washington are…

Neko Case (Main Stage)

Constantines (Wookie Stage)

The Heavenly States (Plaza Stage)

This is definitely an excuse I could use to finally get out to The Gorge, and I have a friend living near there that could get me closer much easier and cheaper than otherwise possible.

I wonder if the stage is guarded by Wook-traps…

5 nicole harris Jan 30, 06 at 2:25 pm: sasquatch is a grear festival! Never heard of it before? Last year Pixes, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Wilco, Kanye West etc. If you go, make sure to pack your camping gear! Closest hotel is 1 hour away. Also, bring your sunscreen!

7 Phil Feb 3, 06 at 8:40 pm: sasquatch! is definitely my favorite time of the year. i’ve gone the past three years and they’ve always had something for everyone. if you go, you’ll want to camp outside with everyone else, it’s the only way to get the true experience!

Get the complete line-up and ticket info for this year’s 3-day fest on Tuesday (2/21) at 5pm with Dick Rossetti on 1077 The End.”
