Uhm, moe., chill out on the planning. They’re already announcing their dates scheduled for January, 2007. Granted, I know it’s a cruise and you do need to plan ahead. But, this is almost TOO far in advance.

From moe. News (10/24/05)…

MOE. 2007 CRUISE ANNOUNCED::
moe. is happy to announce that they are once again collaborating with Les and Lynn Berger of Rhythms at Sea Cruises (formerly Rock the Boat Cruises) on their 2nd music cruise. The cruise will take place January 7-14, 2007 on the the Norwegian Jewel. Fans will be treated to a different itinerary this time: the ship will head east out of Miami and hit the ports of San Juan (Puerto Rico), St Johns (Antigua), St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands) and Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas).
The Jewel is Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship. This is the crowning jewel in their incredible fleet of Freestyle Ships. She shines from bow to stern with an incredible array of outstanding amenities including:
10 distinct restaurants
13 bars and lounges
3 swimming pools, spa and more!

moe. will play throughout the week on the ship and fans will also have plenty of time to enjoy all the entertainment the ship has to offer. The band and their families look forward to sharing another magical weekend with everyone. Space is limited, so please watch www.RhythmsAtSeaCruises.com for all the latest info. Please note there might be a slight delay in info being posted by Rhythms at Sea because of Hurricane Wilma.
Tickets go on sale November 15th.

Good stuff. Oh, and by the way, moe. has a blog.

moe sort of sucks at looking like they’re only in it for the music.

moe is like some kind of corporation….which, imho..really sucks

Yeah, I think a lot of bands walk a very fine line. How else can you support your family anyways?

well, i guess what I mean is….a band that is constantly self promoting turns me off. i’m sure i’m not the only one. Let me like you for your music and your band’s spirit, not b/c you’re all over guitar magazines – selling your image for a guitar maker, not b/c you refuse to do bonnaroo again until you get a main stage slot, not b/c you throw a cruise party, let me enjoy your music, stop shoving in my face.

Well, I always thought that only opera stars were book solid for the next decade or so. Still no news of the small clubs tour in Holland in 2009? Come on you guys. let’s synchronize our itineraries.

Oh, BTW, no need to come to Europe in the summer of 2006. Everybody will be watching the soccer World Championships in Germany. The Dutch are gonna win this time.

the dutch in germany? are they gonna roll over for the nazis again? or maybe just stick their fingers in a dyke?

none of you know what you are talking about. the cruise is just for fun, and moe makes next to nothing off of their music, all of their music is spread through tapers for free, and they do next to no promoting of their music, and are not in any kind of magazine advertising guitars. if they were not in it for the music, and they dont make hardly any money, what would they be doing it for you dip?
