How much more can we say?

There will only be one Jerry and we are so blessed to have had the opportunity to actually see him play The Wolf in front of live audiences. I wasn’t more than 20 yards from Jerry on a number of occasions and never took it for granted.

    We miss you, Jer…..

I remember on the day that Jerry went “further”, I was taking one of those employment vocational courses. It changed my life and I became a music therapist after years of college. Jerry and The Dead’s music played a significant part in the overall gestalt of my learning and growing as an MT.

I never saw Jerry or The Dead in concert but I came damn close. I made it to the town of Watkins Glen when they played that fest with ABB and The Band. My mates and I got stuck about 5 miles from the fest site but we instigated our own 2 hour jam session at a tavern in the town so we left fulfilled. I will always dedicate my memory of that time to Jerry.
    Peace
