moe. has announced its plans to play the cox pavillion in las vegas, nv for new year’s eve 2004. they’ll be playing the 31st and playing again the following night. it’s almost as if moe. wants to make sure that all of their fans have plenty of time to make plans to get to las vegas; that’s not a bad idea if you ask me.

it looks that the beastie boys are looking to do a national tour. the problem is, they haven’t completely announced the entire tour yet. but they will, and we’ll provide updates on the dates posted.

i can’t wait until they’re close to chicago. i had the pleasure of seeing the beastie boys on their 1998 tour in support of hello nasty. it was an unbelievable show. highlights included a wonderful mix master mike intro to the tune of rush – tom sawyer and the rotating stage.

dave matthews band has released plans to play a free concert at the golden gate park.

livemusicblog.comi’ve been a fan for dave matthews band for quite a while now. i’ve seen only three shows, and i think that i should change that very soon. i was just telling my special lady friend that i would like to see a serious departure on dave’s new albums. i would like to see something totally different than covers of the band. also, i’d like to see a dave matthews-themed festival soon. i think these concerts could be a good precursor to those events.
